When you subscribe to the newsletter, we keep your email address to send it to you. You can unsubscribe at any time from any newsletter.

When you send a pitch, we keep your name, email address and message so the Editor's desk can reply. We also email you to confirm that we received it and, once the Editor’s desk has decided, to tell you whether it was accepted or declined. These emails never repeat what you wrote.

If you attach pictures or a PDF to a pitch, we keep them in a private store, not on the public site. A PDF is sent to Cloudmersive, a security service based in the United States, which scans it for viruses before we store it. We keep the file only if the scan finds no threat.
